The importance of education in the life of an individual cannot be overstated. It empowers students to discover themselves and to find answers for themselves. It aims to develop in the student's qualities of integrity, honesty, trust, tolerance and compassion, to promote a spirit of enquiry, to foster a scientific temperament within the bonds of humanism.

Education helps to promote confidence, direction, and critical thinking skills, leading to the development of well adjusted, adaptable and integrated personalities. It is said, "If you are planning for a year, sow rice, if you are planning for a decade, plant trees, if you are planning for a lifetime educate people". Hence, the quality of education determines the destiny of the nation.
